I had a very relaxing day and didn’t even get out of my jammies until 3 pm! Did a lot of cooking including making homemade hamburger buns to go with both BBQ pulled pork and hamburgers. For dessert made blueberry and buttermilk sorbet – yum!

We enjoyed a lazy morning and then spent some family-time going to a new exhibit called Orbi in Yokohama, Japan. It was pretty neat, very high-tech. It was good to spend time out of the house and away from the daily grind.

We drive to a state park that was a little over an hour away. There we met my sister and her family, had a great picnic, and hiked one of the trails. Besides that, we just kind of bummed around and ran errands.

I kept by two grandsons so my daughter could go to her 20th class reunion. Can’t believe it’s been so many yrs. since her HS days. Then I worked on a crochet shawl as a little happy for my aunt. Also worked cleaning up at the cemetery on Sunday.

Aside from going to a fundraiser Barn Dance on Friday night, I spent the weekend cleaning, organizing, and cooking. Very hot and humid here so good excuse to use the extra time catching up on things I don’t always have time to do.
