Instead of visiting friends in Tallahassee, we spent the weekend at home with two little girls with runny noses! It was good to have some relaxed family time though.

Sunday was church and playing with my sweet 21 month old Grandson, later went for a walk with my dear husband and did a little target practice. Monday I continued to declutter and baked 2 loaves of Garlic Rosemary Braid (one for the neighbors that we dined with that evening) and 3 loaves of WW Oatmeal bread. (a staple at our house!) Hope I win one of your terrific new cookbooks!

Spent a wonderful 5 day weekend with my daughter and son in law at Camp Pendleton (they just were transferred 8/15). We landscaped the front yard, planting Aloe, lobelia, dianthus & marigolds. Evenings where spent hanging picture frames, putting up shelves and spending quality time together. And on top of already great weekend, my 11 month old grand daughter doesn’t want to be away from me. Love your book Lauren. We have 2 downloads, but it would be a nice house warming gift for my daughter!!

This weekend, I spent a day at Coney Island with friends (yay for going on my first rollercoaster and boo for missing Beyonce!) and went horseback riding another day. I also got my first taste of frog legs and fried oreos. So pretty much all my excitement of the summer happened this weekend!
