Ran errands, went to the farmers market, went grocery shopping, laid around Sunday some, celebrated my niece’s 6th Birthday which included a “friends” party and family pizza party with Auntie here making poppers, crab ragoon dip, and stuffed mushrooms, ooooo and 24 heart shaped cupcakes for the first day of school. It was kind of a busy weekend but very good and fun and yummy!

I had a wonderful mix of chill time and chores, eating out and baking, couch potato-ing and exercising. I’m 16 weeks pregnant and made it a point to get to bed at a decent hour and sleep in and I’m enjoying actually feeling rested today while back in the office.

Saturday we cooked for some family and some of their visiting relatives. We fished a little in the backyard pond. I washed clothes and cleaned the house. We visited a sick relative in the hospital. We played with the puppy, bought her a pink swimming pool on sale. We ate burgers at Sonic and went to Walmart to buy bananas.

The glory of the high school years starts this week and I just want to make sure I know what I’m doing!! LOL Couldn’t think of what to cook all weekend long because my brain has been so scrambled. Would definitely love your book. Thanks for giving us a chance to win a copy. πŸ™‚

On Saturday one of my children and I did our bi-weekly grocery shopping. Then spent the rest of the day just hanging out together with rest of the family. On Sunday we went to church and afterwards my husband and I left our children with friends and drove 5 hrs to spend time with our niece whom is in the hospital for heart surgery. We spent the night there and came back the next day. It was an interesting weekend to say the least and not at all how we thought we’d spend it!!
