September 2, 2013 at 8:42 pmI spent sat/sun at my second job, I’m a nanny for two girls, went to some friends house for a BBQ on Sunday evening and finished with helping a friend move on Monday morning and spent the rest of the day with my son, husband and dog.

Then Sunday night unexpectedly while walking the dogs, at dusk, I mis-stepped in a small pothole, twisted & chipped a bone in my ankle, and badly bruised the other knee as I went down …
So today when everyone came home spent the afternoon and early evening in emerg. Now I’m sporting a new fashionable boot that looks like something out of a transformers movie! 😀

September 2, 2013 at 9:37 pmWe actually don’t celebrate Labor Day here in the Netherlands but the weekend was spent doing grocery shopping, visiting friends for their birthdays and unfortunately I spent Sunday in bed with a giant headache 🙁
This Monday was the first day back to school for my four kids, so I am back to my normal routine.

I refinished a roomful of furniture for my new Granddaughter Alicia -due in Dec. Last weekend it was 100* temp and I got it all sanded down so this wknd all I had to do was stain & varnish. Looks very nice. Just need to paint the knobs and it will be
