Merry Christmas, friends! Since I can’t exactly send you all a Christmas card, I thought I would share it here 🙂 This year has been a doozie for my little family! Lots of crazy-awesome-ridiculous things happened in 2013 including: adding another member to our family, remodeling our kitchen and publishing my ebook all at the same time {!!!} while still somehow staying sane….I think.
We are so grateful for all you loyal readers. You are so supportive and make me want to keep blogging and developing recipes. I love talking with you all on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all the other forms of social media I have. Keep those comments coming!

December 23, 2013 at 9:05 amYour Lemon Crinkle Cookies from a post back in 2011. I’ve adjusted it to make them gluten free and they are super lemony and are just as amazing as when I’ve made them with regular flour.

December 23, 2013 at 9:06 amI made the Peppermint Cheesecake cake last weekend. It disappeared quick! And I was so excited because a friend had made a peppermint cake at another get-together and when I put mine out last weekend, she oo’d and ahh’d about it. First time I made it — it was WONDERFUL! I’m actually making it again for Christmas Day dinner. It’s very pretty.

December 23, 2013 at 9:11 amI just made your chocolate peppermint fudge sauce which will be included in my homemade Christmas baskets. Mmmm good. My ten year old keeps thinking he can eat some right out of the jar at breakfast! His selective hearing always misses me saying “Hey, that’s not a breakfast item!”

December 23, 2013 at 9:12 amMy husband and I cook from your website all the time!!! (we mostly just pick our menus between you, Twopeas, and Howsweet). I would have to say the easy butternut squash mac and cheese. I loveeee that stuff and like to pretend that it is really healthy because of the butternut squash 🙂 Oooh that or your roasted veggie calzones. 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway. And happy holidays to you and the family!

December 23, 2013 at 9:12 amI blame you and you alone for the extra pounds since following you! I have tried many of your recipes but my favorite this month has been the Sea Salt Caramel filled Chocolate cookie. This is what everyone has been getting in their goodie boxes, these and the Red Velvet cookies. Merry Christmas!

December 23, 2013 at 9:14 amEvery time I visit the site I have a new favorite recipe! Every recipe I have made has been wonderful. My children love cooking them with me and adding their own touches. We love the candy cane crinkles and have made lots for the holidays. My kids favorite variation is to use sweet tart candy canes instead of peppermint. Thank Lauren!

December 23, 2013 at 9:14 amHi Lauren! I’m a fairly new follower – following you on FB currently. I’ve recently had a huge life change and am in the middle of settling into a new place and a new life. Because of this, I have yet to try any of your recipes, but I have been saving a number of them 🙂 I’m a huge foodie and enjoy your creations quite a bit. Thanks for the posts – congrats on your little one and the ebooks and Merry Christmas!
