Merry Christmas!

December 22, 2013

christmas cardMerry Christmas, friends! Since I can’t exactly send you all a Christmas card, I thought I would share it here 🙂 This year has been a doozie for my little family! Lots of crazy-awesome-ridiculous things happened in 2013 including: adding another member to our family, remodeling our kitchen and publishing my ebook all at the same time {!!!} while still somehow staying sane….I think.

We are so grateful for all you loyal readers. You are so supportive and make me want to keep blogging and developing recipes. I love talking with you all on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all the other forms of social media I have. Keep those comments coming!

So many, but the one I use all the time and my family is nuts for is the cheesy garlic bread. In fact, we are having some with our Christmas dinner. It never lasts long, if I can get it to the table before my oldest granddaughter sees it!.

I do so enjoy all your posts and getting new recipes. I’ve been cooking a really long time and like to try new things. Thanks for sharing all the good ideas and for letting us see a bit of your family. You have two beautiful kiddos.

    Merry Christmas!

I just went gluten free and tried these earlier this month.

    Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls.

I’m not the greatest of bakers but they did the trick to help my craving for sweets.

It was the recipe which brought me to your blog a few days ago: The AMAZING Holiday Cranberry Salsa! It was served at a homeschool Christmas Outreach and Party. EVERYONE was asking who brought it (including me!) and begging for the recipe. An email sent us to your site! What a find! Thank you!

I have made several (I have lost count) but my favorite (lately) has been the Cheesy-Stuffed Garlic Butter Crescents. I loooooove crescents and I adore cheese, so cheese stuffed inside something and baked into a heavenly warm and gooey anything is a winner for me. MmmmmMMMmmmmm……..cheese………

Since the discovery of your site a couple years ago, Ive made a lot of things and they have always turned out great. Once and a while I will get a text from my friend out of town saying “Whoa check out Lauren’s Latest today!! You must make that”.
I work with Special Needs children at a high school, one student loves baking and needed to make cookies for a little Christmas Party. I used your CANDY CANE CRINKLE COOKIES….WOW everyone loved them I had to hide some in the freezer so some would make it to the party. The recipe was easy enough and didn’t have a ton of ingredients my student was able to following the recipe easily and have amazing results.

My kids love fancy drinks and I love trying out new fun recipes. We recently did the Christmas Mocktails (without sugar rims this time) and they loved them. I have a bazillion of your recipes pinned and/or saved in an electronic recipe file on my ‘someday’ shelf. Unfortunately, that shelf keeps growing, but I do plan to try the mini peppermint cream white chocolate cheesecake tarts soon, too. 🙂 Even if I can’t say the whole name without stuttering over it once or twice. 🙂

The Soft and Chewy Gingerbread bars are to die for! All the through the years my Dad wasn’t something like this and every time I baked Gingerbread they were not to his liking. I finally finds these and he has passed. I wish I had found them sooner, they have the taste that he described to me for many years.
