Another month in the books! Here were my favorite and maybe not so favorite parts:
I got to volunteer with Eddie’s class to explore a pumpkin patch! We played on the fun swings, climbed the tire tractors, pet the baby cows and got lost in a corn maze! Whee!
Crouton found the mud! Yikes.
We got a landscape architect to create a plan for our landscaping…so Crouton doesn’t have to get so muddy. We probably won’t be able to do all of this next year, but we are hopeful we can at least add grass and minimize the dirt.
We added faux wood beams and different lights in our entry. And painted Gordon’s office! So glad that’s done.
We started framing the basement and had the electrical work done… the first steps in finishing it!
Eddie got a terrible stomach bug that made its way through the family. It was seriously gnarly. I was out for a week! It was one of the worst viruses I’ve ever had.
Claudia and I started Brash Print Co and very quickly realized it wasn’t going anywhere, so we shut it down.
Porter being, well, Porter.
Low key Halloween! There were hardly any people out in our neighborhood trick or treating which was shocking because all the neighbors were giving out cans of sodas, full size candy bars and even money! Porter got $5! This is a Halloween we can get on board with. Ha!
