We ate at our fav seafood place…and had fried pickles (major pregnancy craving) and had an ‘appetizer party’ at my grandma’s last night! Today..we did unfun stuff…organizing closets.

Then finished off the day with a cookout with friends! Sunday was lazy with errands and a cookout/pool party in the evening. Finished off with a round of golf today!

Then, I helped my husband with HIS job so he might have to work a few less hours. 😀 Now, I’m waiting for my son to finish football practice (first game tomorrow) so we can have dinner! I made homemade pesto, kale chips, and granola bites. I prepared seating charts, created a “get to know your teacher” video for my website. Best of all, I spent some time each day with some really awesome friends! Feeling blessed as we head into a new school year! Thanks, Lauren!

September 2, 2013 at 3:23 pmFriends (2 women and 5 kids) drove up to the mountains to spend time with me. We hiked in the forest, ate, molded with play clay, ate, decorated ceramic pieces to take home, ate, walked the dogs, ate, slept in, ate, sat on the deck and talked. Did I mention that we ate?

September 2, 2013 at 3:23 pmSaturday we took a drive to the high desert, stopped for prime rib lunch & ended our day looking at motor homes (did you know you can write it off as a second home on your taxes?!). Sunday I did laundry and cooked. Monday I made chicken jerky for my dogs and took a long nap 🙂

We already have a cat and can’t keep them, but we have a friend that’s going to take them since she just put her cat down last week 🙁 Quite the unexpected excitement we’ve had this weekend!
