Our Bathroom Renovation is DONE!

January 10, 2015

IMG_0162

This has been a long time coming, you guys.

Plumbing troubles, tiling troubles, disagreements and overall lack of time prevented us from getting this done. But here we are and it’s FINALLY finished.

Can I get a hallelujah?

We’ve come a long way and am so excited to show you these pictures 🙂 I did take some before photos, but can’t find them at the moment, so the after photos will just have to do. {They’re nicer to look at anyways!}

If you were around for our kitchen remodel, then you’ll recognize a lot of the same names. We used the same companies for our bathroom as we did for our kitchen because we were so pleased with the results. I’d recommend all of these guys without hesitation!

{PS- I still need to get a picture printed for that picture frame above the toilet!! No need to tell me again.}

This is typically what you would see when you’d walk into the bathroom {either like this or the top photo}. This bathroom is my kids’ bathroom and is definitely on the smaller side, but gets the job done nicely. Don’t mind the creases in the shower curtain…it’s new! {From Target}

IMG_0130

You can’t see these hooks from the pictures above, but they are on the wall right across from the toilet. Before, we had a towel bar which was never used because….I have kids. Now, the towels actually get hung up! It’s amazing!! {Hooks from Moen}.

This is the little vanity area. {Mirror from Home Depot.} It looks like it’s copper, but its actually brushed nickel {silver}…which doesn’t make sense at all, but whatevs.

IMG_0139

We got new marble counters from Elite Granite & Marble. They did our kitchen counters and we LOVED how they turned out, so naturally we went with these guys again. {Call and ask for Sarah!}

IMG_0142

All the fixtures for the bathroom are all from Moen as well. This faucet is the Caldwell chrome two-handle.

IMG_0144

Our bathroom cabinets are exactly the same as our kitchen cabinets–Canyon Creek Cabinet Company‘s Katana Frameless Cabinetry with the Sabre door {shaker style} in painted white. I love a pretty looking shaker door, ya’ll.

IMG_0149

I even added in some mesh liners to the little drawers to keep them clean and neat! Brooke and the one on the left, Blake has the one on the right.

IMG_0166

I love these cute little holders for the soap and smaller items needed in bathrooms! I got this idea from my friend Karisa. She does this in her {adorable, perfect, always clean} house so I thought I’d do it too. This is my favorite part 🙂 Containers and tray from Target.

IMG_0165

We went with the Moen Kingsley toilet paper holder that pivots open instead of being spring loaded. So much easier to change those rolls of tp!

IMG_0151

All of the tile work was done by my husband. We purchased all the tiles for the bathroom at Lowe’s. The black and grey tiles are glass {don’t remember the brand} and the white bigger subway tiles are allen + roth, sold exclusively at Lowe’s. This is not a paid endorsement.

IMG_0154

The shower head and double curtain rod are Moen too. If you don’t have a double shower curtain rod, your life will forever be changed.

That is all.

The Caldwell posi-temp tub/shower combo from Mown came with all the parts we needed to replace the old hardware.

I love shiny things 🙂

Anyways, if you’re thinking about redoing a bathroom or kitchen in the near future, be sure to check these guys out:

    Looks great! Do you rent out your husband for tile work?! I have seen the glass tile at Lowe’s, but never installed. You might have given me some inspiration for my powder room 🙂

    was wondering the value of a double-signed shower curtain rod. I use double sided shower hooks so when I change shower curtains frequently it is much easier. Thanks.

    It’s gorgeous, Lauren! Love the tile work – bravo to your husband. We’re doing major renovation on our backyard starting next week, and I’ve already got the medication ready.

    Love it! I’m dying to do mine. Hopefully this is the encouragement I needed

    The Caldwell posi-temp tub/shower combo from Mown came with all the parts we needed to replace the old hardware. ( I think you meant Moen in this part?)
