I’ve been so busy this week!! With Brooke getting baptized, my dad coming to town and all the in between madness of parenting and other work (read: food videos!) I’ve forgotten to post some of the recipes I have for you all! Well, never fear, friends. I gotcha covered this coming week 🙂
But in the mean time, here’s what has been going on this week!
If you can’t tell by that first photo, I somehow squeezed in the time to get my hair dyed blonde. I’m not sure if I like it. My hair had grown out so far with my natural brown that it was a big shock when the dye was rinsed out. Thoughts?
My dad has been in town for the last few days and HE HAS DONE MY DISHES EVERY NIGHT.
I’m never letting him leave.
Also: my kids have been warming up to him like crazy! He played 2 hours of WAR (the card game) with Brooke tonight and they were trash talking. It was pretty hilarious. 2 hours of “you’re going down old man” was hard not to chuckle along to.
I also got my Dad to play on SnapChat with me. I can’t even handle it.
But seriously though! Can’t. Stop. Laughing.
Probably the biggest event that happened this week was Brooke’s baptism, as I mentioned above.
This photo is one of my favorites because (1) Blake looking everywhere but at the camera…typical (2) little Eddie with his crazy hair and folded arms! (3) Brooke’s smile!! (4) my awkward smile. Ha! Oh well. MAKING MEMORIES.
Also, blonde hair? I can’t decide if I like it. YOU GUYSSSS.
We took my Dad to Cheesecake Factory at some point too. That place can take all my money. Just feed me all the brown bread and salad. (Factory Salad is my favorite!)
PS-The s’mores cheesecake is amazing too.

Anyways, that’s it for now! Tomorrow, I’ll be posting a fabulous crockpot pasta recipe that is pretty amazing 🙂

RAIN FOR MONTHS IT SEEMS. Even I, born and raised mostly here am wearying…..but enduring to the end! Whenever that may be. Very good for Brooke being baptized. The past 7 years since I have been living virtually in your life have raced by for sure.
