One afternoon I was cooking. Typical for me, right?
Well, half way in, my husband calls out in a frantic voice “Lauren, COME HERE!”
What on earth could be going on?
I turn the corner and into the hall and what do I see?
So, like the good wife and mother I am, I grab my camera and start clicking away.
Can you figure out what happened?

NOW do you know what happened?
Our darling daughter {bless her heart} tried to go potty herself and didn’t quite make it. So #2 ended up on our new bath mat, all down the hall and all over her. “I got poopies in my toes” Β Yes, yes you do.
I was going to mention all this in tomorrow’s blog post {which is the recipe I was making at the time this all went down} but then I thought twice.
Poopies and dinner didn’t really mesh. Lol.
You’re welcome.
PS- being a Mom is the best.

January 4, 2012 at 4:17 amTime for another new mat! (There’s no way I’d throw that thing in my washer…) Potty training sucks. Period. Hope she makes it next time!!

January 4, 2012 at 4:36 amShe’s completely potty trained! She’s just stubborn and wanted to get her little pink potty out and not use the ‘big potty’ {actual toilet}. And she did this when she was supposed to be napping, so we would have helped her had we known she wasn’t asleep/heard her! She cracks me up!

January 4, 2012 at 9:18 amI love your husband’s panicky reaction! You were obviously the only one who could deal with that level of poopiness! And your daughter is just the cutest ever.

January 4, 2012 at 9:08 pmOK, OK…the worst thing I have experienced so far, and I know there will be much much more to come since Luke is only 1 1/2…is poopy in the tub. EW.
My husband had the pleasure of experiencing the first poop covered crib. He said it was nasty and I am surprised he survived…I really am! He told me he thought it was puke, so he stuck his finger in it and smelled it. So NOT what I would have done.

January 7, 2012 at 2:52 amOh no!
Supposedly when I was a baby I decided to use what was in my diaper to paint my nursery walls. My parents like to tell that story all the time haha.
