Hey all,
I wanted to pop in here with a quick pre-Thanksgiving post to tell you all THANK YOU!!
In October, I celebrated my 8th anniversary of Lauren’s Latest! Isn’t that so crazy?!
In these past eight years, I:
- had two more babies
- put my husband through grad school
- moved seven times across three different states and
- somehow managed to post 1300+ recipes amongst the insanity that is my life.
Whether you’re new to Lauren’s Latest or have been around since the beginning, thank you for being wonderful and positive and supportive of me and my family. We read every comment, every email, every Instagram message and appreciate it all.
And for those of you that are bound to ask about my outfit, my coat and earrings are from stitch fix, old scarf from target (similar here), favorite jeans here, and tieks. Newest tinted lip balm obsession with this color. (I strongly dislike lipstick!)

BUT, I wanted to enter this one because 1) it’s an amazing giveaway! and 2) I felt like either way, I needed to let you know how much fun I have keeping up with your posts (mostly on Insta but here as well). I left a comment on the post that shows your Week at the Brennans with your husband having graduated – BUT, the one I wanted to post a comment on (because I LOVED it) was the one that went through a “yay you made it” sort of vibe and detailed the last many months of what this transition has been. But I couldn’t find it…so I found the next closest one to that subject. 🙂 It hit home for me, my husband is in a field that has him traveling to other countries for a week or 2 at a time and I also have 3 kiddos (my youngest is just a tad older than Eddie) and I sooooo relate to some of the things you do! Congrats again to your whole family on making it through that season!
